Studying the history of architecture after the Industrial Revolution helps us understand how technological advancements influenced building designs. It reveals how architecture evolved to meet the needs of rapidly growing cities and industries. This knowledge also helps us appreciate the balance between innovation, functionality, and aesthetics in modern structures.

The course will also cover Baroque and Rococo architecture, as well as the architectural styles that preceded this transformation. It will explore how these earlier styles laid the foundation for the changes brought about by the Industrial Revolution, shaping the way buildings and cities developed.
